I fredags gjorde jeg det - hoppede i et helt pink outfit! Jeg kunne altså ikke modstå fristelsen, jeg synes bare det er for sejt. Tone-i-tone-outfits er virkelig en af mine favoritter, selvom jeg ikke selv har tøjet til at lave dem. Jeg pønser dog på at lave et i hvid og med min nye MAC "cyber"-læbestift, jeg købte i Berlin. Hov, jeg vil også undskylde for at jeg altid laver "dagens" for et par dage siden i stedet for faktisk at vise tøjet den dag jeg har det på - det vil jeg arbejde på! Hvordan har I det med tone-i-tone-outfits?

Friday I did it - I wore an all pink outfit. I couldn't resiste the temptation, I think it's so cool! Same-colour outfits are a favourite of mine, even though I haven't got the clothes to do them. Oh, but I am thinking of doing one in all white and then using my new "Cyber"-lipstick from MAC, which I bought in Berlin. Oh and I just want to apologize for putting up "look of the day" some days after I actually wore the outfits instead of putting them up the day that I'm actually wearing them. But how are your feelings about same-colour outfits?

Hej søde læsere. Jeg har lige opdaget en konkurrence på Fields' Facebookside, hvor man kan vinde at style en helside til et dansk modemagasin - ehem, som jeg sindssygt gerne vil vinde! For at deltage skal man smide billeder ind af outfits man selv har stylet. Jeg er godt i gang og har smidt 4 forskellige outfits ind, som er nogle af mine personlige favouritter. Det er nu jeg har brug for jeres hjælp - det er mest op til et dommerpanel, hvem der vinder, MEN det, at der er mange der "synes godt om" éns stylingfoto kan også hjælpe en hel del!

Jeg har forleden besøgt Rokit Vintage's hjemmeside (hvilken jeg slet ikke har vidst eksisterede) og jeg er tosset med den! Jeg tror jeg fik et hint om den inde hos Anna Sofies Closet og sad derefter næsten en time eller mere og kiggede hele sitet igennem for vintage-goder. Gud, hvor ville jeg bare kaste mine penge efter den hjemmeside, hvis jeg havde pengene til det. Her er et par eksempler på hvordan jeg ville style det dejlige vintage tøj, hvis det var i mine hænder. Som I kan se er jeg ikke helt ude af min sommertankegang, når det kommer til tøj. Og ps.: de hvide bukser på første collage er læderbukser - tænk jer lige, hvide læderbukser! WOW!

I recently visited Rokit Vintage's site (which I had no idea existed) and I am crazy about it. I got the hint about it at Anna Sofies Closet and afterwards I was hooked. I sat for an hourr or more browsing the site for vintage goodies. God, if I had a lot of money they would all go to this site! Here are a couple of examples of how I'd style the lovely vintage clothing if I had them. As you can see, I haven't quite left my summer-clothing-mode yet. Oh, and ps.: the white pants on the first collage are leatherpants - just imagine that, white leather pants! WOW!

Styling: Linda Kozlowski i Crocodile Dundee

Jeg zappede i dag forbi TV2 hvor der var Crocodile Dundee-filmen fra 1986. Den film er normalt ikke lige mit foretrukne tidsfordriv, men der var noget der fangede mig: Linda Kozlowski's styling i filmen er super fed! Det, der præcist fangede mig var det første outfit man ser hende i, et par meget højtaljede lysebrune khakibukser, et lidt bredt læderbælte, en hvid tanktop og et lyseblåt tørklæde om hovedet. Lige præcis dét har jeg på ingen måde kunnet finde et billede af! jeg har gennemsøgt google, youtube og alt andet, der er at gennemsøge. Så tilbage til emnet: Linda Kozlowski's styling. Det jeg har at sige er bare at der er super tydeligt at trends går i ring mht. tiden, for hvad der hittede i 1986 i Crocodile Dundee hitter også helt vildt meget i 2011! Today I zapped by TV2 where Crocodile Dundee from 1986 was shown. That kind of movies is not exactly my faveourite thing to watch, but something about it caught my eye. The styling of Linda Kozlowski is awesome! What exactly caught my eye was the first outfit you see her in: a pair of very highwaisted beige khakipants, a belt, a white tank and a light blue scarf around her head. This outfit was unfortunately impossible to find on the internet, I searched google, youtube, everything, but no sign of that precise outfit. But back to the case: the styling of Linda Kozlowski. What I have to say about it is that it is extremely obvious what goes around comes around in terms of trends. In my opinion, what was hot in 1986 in Crocodile Dundee is definately hot in 2011!
